PBL
Project Based Learning is a teaching method. In this teaching method, students gain knowledge and skills on what they work on for a longer period of time. This gives them time to respond to an engaging and complex question. In PBL, projects are focused on students and their learning goals, that they wish to achieve. Also what it includes beyond the projects designed elements.
Key Knowledge, Understanding, and Success Skills - The project that children or teens are focused, on is the students learning goals, which is including standards-based content and skills such as critical thinking problem solving, communication, collaboration, and self-management.
Challenging Problem or Question - The project is put in a bubble, (to make the project become a project) to make a project you need a problem that is able to be solved, or if it needs to be solved. A question to answer, at the appropriate level of challenge. A challenge is something you have trouble with but are able to overcome it when the project is over.
Authenticity - The projects feature real as in world real- some examples are, world context, In the world context, you are able to connect in a way to the real world. Tasks and tools, help you in Project Based Learning because some projects need tasks, tools , and supplies. Quality standards, Quality standards are settling for OK, in a Project Based learning classroom, you can't settle for OK you need to go above and beyond.
